Lecture Assignment 3/4

A. What is the purpose of this photo; why was it taken? why do you keep it? why did you choose it for this assignment? What is its significance to you?
- The purpose of this photo was to capture my little cousins personality.  It was taken because she was happy, it was a good time to take a picture.  I keep this photo because I rarely get to see her and it makes me smile.  I chose this photo for this assignment because her expression was priceless.  Its significant because its a photo of family, new family.

B.  What is the emotional relationship between the photographer and the subject? how does that influence the way the picture was taken? How does it affect the way you look at the photo? What is the photographer' atttude toward the subject? What is the subject's attitude towards the photographer?
- The emotional relationship is happy, playful between me and my cousin.  This influences the way the photo was taken, it was taken while she was smiling.  It makes me feel happy when I look at this photo.  The attitude towards the subject is caring and happy.  The subject's attitude towards the photographer is happy.

C.  In what context is this photo intended to be viewed?, by who, for how long? Do you think you will still remember this photo in ten years?
- The photo is intended to be viewed in happy way.  By family members, for as long as they want.  Yes i think I will remember this photo, when she grows up it will be a  photo I will show her.

- The purpose was for my mom to capture me, my brother and cousin all together.  I keep it because my brothers face makes me laugh.  I chose it because we all have different facial expressions towards the photographer.  Its significant because it has people I care about it in it.

b. What is the emotional relationship between the photographer and the subject? how does that influence the way the picture was taken? How does it affect the way you look at the photo? What is the photographer' atttude toward the subject? What is the subject's attitude towards the photographer?
- The emotional relationship is a motherly one.  It influences the way the picture was taken, it causes our facial expressions to be different.  It affects the way I look at the photo because I know who took it and what we were doing.  The photographers attitude towards the subject is caring.  The subject's attitude towards the photographer is jokingly.

c. In what context is this photo intended to be viewed?, by who, for how long? Do you think you will still remember this photo in ten years?
-  It is intended to be viewed by family members, by how ever long.  I think that we will because its three people together that normally arent together.

- This photo was probably taken to depict who the man is.  I keep it because I think its an interesting black and white photo and I needed it for a class.  I chose this because it interests me, his expression and clothing.  It has no significance to me.

- The emotional relationship between the photographer and the subject is probably professional.  It influences it because its more serious. It makes me feel contimplative/serious when I look at this photo. The photographers attitutude towards the subject is probably professional.  The subject's attitude towards the photographer is serious.
c. In what context is this photo intended to be viewed?, by who, for how long? Do you think you will still remember this photo in ten years?
- Its to be viewed by anybody, for how ever long its on google. I dont think i will remeber this photo in 10 years.
